Kunafa Syrian desert
If
you have a sweet tooth you should try this Syrian desert because of
mozzarella cheese you can hit salty sweet flavor in one which makes
it my perfect dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 glasses of fine semolina
- 1 cup of flour.
- 1 Tablespoon of baking powder.
- 1 Tablespoon of sodium carbonate.
- 1 Tablespoon of salt.
- 2 Tablespoons of sugar.
- 1 Tablespoon of yeast
- 11/2 Tablespoon of orange food color.
- 1 glass of water as needed.
- 3/4 cup of melted margarine.
How
to prepare:
put
the flour ,sugar and semolina in bowel,and mix well. Then add yeast
and baking powder, and sodium carbonate, Gradually add water and by
hand till become a soft dough. cover it with a warm towel. Let it
rest for about an hour. After we put in the oven for about 15 min.
Then take it out of the oven and leave it up to cool completely.
Grind them into food processor until it is completely crushed. Add
the milted margarine and orange color and mix well . And voila! You
have kunafa soft dough then to prepare Kunafa put the dough in oven
tray and then add mozzarella cheese over it then put it in the oven
till the dough became golden then sprinkle some pistachios and hot
sugar syrup. Serve hot Kunafa.
