Falafel
For all of you who like the Syrian appetizers with chickpeas you will fall in love with this recipe believe me keep reading and try it
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup chickpeas, soaked overnight
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried coriander
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- Oil for frying
How to
prepare:
Drain chickpeas from water and put it
with new amount of water in a pot on the fire and let it to boil for
5 minutes, then lower the fire and leave it for an hour.
Drain chickpeas and leave to cool for
15 minutes.
Mix remaining ingredients well.
Grind the chickpeas well and add the
rest of the mix.
Heat the oil.
Make Falafel balls and press them a
little bit with your hand to be settled.
Fry in oil for 7 minutes or until
becomes golden.
Take it from oil and place on kitchen
wipes till absorb all excess oil.
